Bedroom sleep sanctuary assessment

If there’s only one thing you do, make sure you … and your children and grandchildren … are sleeping in an EMF-safe bedroom at night.  This is the time when our bodies (especially our brains), are detoxing, repairing, and rejuvenating.  They can’t do this important, magnificent job of theirs if they are exposed to stressful artificial EMFs all night long.

One of the most common symptoms of EMF overexposure is insomnia, and this is because artificial EMFs reduce our melatonin levels.  Melatonin not only regulates sleep, but is also important for the functioning of many organs in our body—our brain, liver, intestines, kidneys, heart, and gallbladder.  Research shows that optimal melatonin levels reduce markers of brain aging and degeneration.

EMF Wellness sleep sanctuary assessments include:

  • Thorough bed check for

    • Wireless radiation

    • Electric fields

    • Magnetic fields

  • Bedroom dirty electricity inspection

  • Determination of sources of elevated fields and discussion of options for reducing them to safe levels

  • Full written report with EMF levels and mitigation options, upon request.

Psst.  The best thing you can do for EMF-safe sleep is keep your cell phone out of the bedroom. Second best, put it in airplane mode (making sure Wi-fi and Bluetooth are off).  Third best, distance is your friend.  Keep the phone at least six feet away from you.  Don't wear a sleep-monitoring fitness tracker to bed unless it is in airplane mode.

Common sources of bedroom EMFs:  Bedside electronics (especially lamps, alarm clocks, and CPAP machines), metal mattress springs & bed frames, electric fields from wall wiring, dirty electricity, and wireless radiation from Wi-fi, smart meters, and cell towers.

Wireless radiation round up

Wireless (radio frequency) radiation is the fastest growing form of artificial EMF on our planet—and in most homes—today.   The wireless radiation in our environment has increased by a whopping 3,000 times since 1980.

Get some inspiration from

Jeromy Johnson's TEDx talk

A major reason it has grown so much is because it provides so many conveniences for us, and thus demand for wireless products has skyrocketed... just take a look at all the wireless enabled electronics in gift catalogues and local electronics stores. Putting on the music you like with a few cell phone clicks to instantly signal your wireless speakers?  Amazing!

Another reason wireless radiation has grown so much is that the companies providing these conveniences profit from them (as any private company would try to do), but are not yet subject to health-protecting safety regulations.

EMF Wellness Wireless Radiation Round Ups include:

  • Testing for levels of RF radiation in all spaces where your family spends a significant amount of time

  • Investigation of the sources of the radiation

  • Determining your options for reducing it to safe levels.

Whole house dirty electricity survey

A compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb

Dirty electricity is another type of EMF growing quickly in homes—almost all have unsafe levels from the use of CFL and LED light bulbs.  Many have extremely high levels from solar power systems or the use of energy-saving appliances and devices that use a “Switch Mode Power Supply”. These emit kilohertz-range fields (rather than the normal 60 Hz), which radiate out of  electrical wires into rooms.

Unlike other types of EMFs, dirty electricity can spread throughout a home, moving along its electrical wiring.  It is thought to be particularly harmful to our health because kilohertz-range EMFs most easily penetrate into our bodies, going directly into our cells, tissues and organs.  Research has linked it to a wide range of symptoms and diseases, and to mental health issues like depression, and ADHD in children.

EMF Wellness Whole House Dirty Electricity Surveys include:

  • Testing for levels of dirty electricity throughout your home

  • Investigation of the sources of the dirty electricity

  • Determining your options for reducing it to safe levels.
