CELL TOWER GALLERY
This is a collection of photos of cell towers around Tucson with measurements of the Radio Frequency (wireless) radiation they are emitting. Radiation is measured in "micro watts per meter-squared" . Unless otherwise noted, for each tower, three numbers are given: the maximum level of radiation, the mean (average) within 20 feet, and the mean within one block.
For reference, the safety guidelines from the Building Biology Institute are:
These guidelines are for sleeping areas, but they apply to any area where people spend a lot of time.
