Eric Windheim is a Building Biology certified Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist (EMRS) and Environmental Consultant (BBEC).  He is also a Radio Frequency Safety Officer accredited by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).  Along with studies in Advanced Solar Engineering, he has prior work experience with HVAC and solar energy system design.

As the owner of Sacramento-based Windheim EMF Solutions, Eric has conducted more than 1,200 EMF assessments in 15 states.  He regularly advises other Building Biologists in EMF detection and remediation and works with a broad network of electricians, ethernet cabling experts, architects, builders, building inspectors, plumbers, and engineers in the mitigation of all four types of EMFs—magnetic fields, electric fields, Radio Frequency Radiation and Dirty Electricity.  He is a leading expert in the detection and abatement of Dirty Electricity and Wiring Errors.

Eric has given numerous public presentations and interviews on EMF safety and human health and has a popular Youtube channel that currently has over 150 educational videos documenting the detection and mitigation of EMFs and 3000+ subscribers.  He has served as a Lab Leader for advanced EMRS training and certification courses at the Building Biology Institute (BBI).  He also introduced specialized equipment into the BBI training, the PICO oscilloscope and spectrum analyzers, which has greatly improved the quality and precision of Dirty Electricity measurement.

Eric is the Founder and Director of the Sacramento Smart Meter Awareness action group.  The group successfully prevailed against the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) in regaining the option of safe and reliable Analog Meters and removal of RF transmitting Smart Meters for all SMUD customers, a nation-wide first for municipal electric utilities.  His EMF safety advocacy work has also included raising awareness of the dangers of placing 5G “small cell” towers too close to homes.
